Which payment methods can I take through a plugin?
PayNow, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, GrabPay, ShopeePay and BNPL, depending on what's activated on your HitPay account.
Do plugins cost extra?
Plugins are free to install. A small per-transaction plugin fee applies on top of method fees: the Shopify app adds 0.5%, and WooCommerce, Wix, Xero and the other listed plugins add 0.2%. All add-ons are listed on the Singapore pricing page.
Do I need to code?
No for the plugins above: install, paste your HitPay API key and salt (or log in for Shopify), choose methods. Custom sites can use the HitPay API.
My platform isn't listed. Can I still use HitPay?
Yes, through the HitPay API or payment links. You can also send us an integration request.
Can I use HitPay through Primer?
Yes. Primer, a payment orchestration platform, offers Atome, GrabPay and ShopeePay via HitPay. Connect HitPay in your Primer dashboard and turn on those methods in Primer Checkout. Which of them you can use depends on what's activated on your HitPay account.
Can I accept PayNow in a Vercel or Next.js app?
Yes. Install HitPay for Vercel from the Vercel Marketplace, sign in to HitPay and choose your projects. It writes a HitPay access token to them as environment variables. Redeploy, create a payment request from a server route, and send the customer to HitPay’s hosted checkout, which shows PayNow, GrabPay, cards and the other methods enabled on your account.
Does HitPay work with v0 and other AI coding tools?
Yes. Install HitPay for Vercel on the project your v0 chat deploys to, then redeploy. If v0 asks you to paste HITPAY_ACCESS_TOKEN, skip that form. AI assistants can also connect to your HitPay business data through the HitPay MCP Server.
