Can parents set up automatic monthly tuition fee payments through HitPay?
Yes. HitPay Subscriptions lets parents set up automatic recurring payments for monthly tuition fees — by card, PayNow (Singapore), DuitNow (Malaysia), or GCash (Philippines). You get paid on time every month without any manual follow-up. Parents can update their own payment details through a self-service portal.
Does HitPay support GIRO or just card payments for recurring billing?
HitPay currently supports recurring card payments (Visa and Mastercard) and PayNow for subscriptions in Singapore. GIRO is not supported. In Malaysia, recurring payments via card and DuitNow are available. In the Philippines, recurring card and GCash payments are supported.
What is the cheapest way to collect monthly tuition fees in Singapore?
HitPay Subscriptions via PayNow offer the lowest per-transaction rate for recurring payments in Singapore — with no monthly platform fee. For Malaysian tuition centres, DuitNow recurring payments offer similarly competitive rates. See hitpayapp.com/pricing for the current rate card.
Can I offer discounts or different pricing tiers through HitPay?
Yes. HitPay supports multiple subscription plans, discount codes, and custom pricing — allowing you to offer different rates for different student categories, sibling enrolments, or promotional periods across Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
Is it safe for parents to store their card details for recurring billing?
Yes. HitPay is PCI DSS compliant. Card details are securely tokenised and never stored directly on HitPay servers. HitPay also complies with PDPA (Singapore), PDPO (Malaysia), and the Data Privacy Act (Philippines) — so your parent data is handled under the appropriate regulatory framework for each market.
What documents do I need to sign up for HitPay as a tuition centre?
Requirements vary by market. In Singapore: ACRA business registration, director NRIC, and business bank account details. In Malaysia: SSM certificate, director MyKad, and a Malaysian bank account. In the Philippines: SEC or DTI registration, valid ID, and a Philippine bank account. Approval takes 1–3 business days across all markets.
Can I track which students have paid and which have not from the dashboard?
Yes. Your HitPay dashboard shows all subscription statuses — active, pending, and failed — with individual payment records. You can see exactly which parents have paid, which payments are overdue, and which have failed, allowing you to focus follow-up only on exceptions.
Does HitPay integrate with any school management or scheduling software?
HitPay integrates via API and webhooks, which allows connection to most school management platforms that support custom integrations. Direct out-of-the-box plugins for specific school management software are not currently available. Contact HitPay sales for guidance on custom integration options.
How do tuition centres in Malaysia collect fees automatically?
Malaysian tuition centres can use HitPay Subscriptions to charge parents automatically each month via DuitNow, FPX, or card. Set up a recurring plan in your HitPay dashboard, share the sign-up link with parents via WhatsApp, and HitPay handles every subsequent charge — including automated reminders and smart retries for failed payments. Funds settle to your Malaysian bank account the next business day.
How do enrichment schools in the Philippines collect tuition fees online?
Philippine enrichment schools and tutors can use HitPay payment links and subscriptions to collect fees via GCash, Maya, or card. Share a payment link via Facebook Messenger, Viber, or WhatsApp — parents pay in one tap. For recurring monthly fees, set up a subscription plan and HitPay charges parents automatically each month. Payouts go to your Philippine bank account the next business day.
Can I collect school event payments and bake sale proceeds without handling cash?
Yes. Generate a static QR code from your HitPay dashboard and print it for each stall or payment point at your event. Parents and visitors pay via PayNow QR (Singapore), DuitNow QR (Malaysia), or QR Ph (Philippines) using their banking app — no cash, no change, no manual reconciliation. All payments are tracked in real time in your dashboard.
Can a private tutor use HitPay to collect lesson fees in Malaysia or the Philippines?
Yes. Individual tutors and freelance educators can sign up for HitPay as a sole proprietor — with SSM registration in Malaysia or DTI registration in the Philippines. Once approved, you can collect lesson fees via payment link (sent via WhatsApp), recurring billing for regular students, or QR code for in-person sessions. No website or card terminal required.
Does HitPay support term-based or per-class billing for enrichment schools?
Yes. HitPay Subscriptions supports monthly, weekly, and custom billing cycles. You can also create one-time payment links for term fees or per-class charges. Multiple plans can run simultaneously — for example, a monthly plan for regular students and a per-session link for trial classes.
