How to become an Atome merchant in Malaysia

To become an Atome merchant in Malaysia through HitPay, create a free HitPay account, complete business verification, then enable Atome under Payment Methods in your dashboard. No separate Atome application is needed. Activation typically takes 5–6 business days. Customers can then pay with Atome online (Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, payment links, invoices, API) and in store by QR.

Connect Atome

In your HitPay dashboard, go to Payment Methods, click Connect on Atome and submit any details requested.

Wait for activation

HitPay’s docs list Atome (MYR) activation at 5–6 business days.

Turn it on where you sell

Online: Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, payment links, invoicing, or the API (method code atome). In store: your customer scans an Atome QR code shown on your HitPay terminal at the counter. In-person fees apply.

Your customer chooses Atome at checkout and pays in 3 interest-free instalments. You’re paid the full amount, credited to your HitPay balance (charge confirmation T+2 in Malaysia).

Atome MY is a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) service that splits purchases into 3 interest-free instalments.

Do I need to apply to Atome separately to accept Atome in Malaysia?

No. With HitPay you sign up once and activate Atome from your dashboard, with no separate Atome application. If you’d rather contract with Atome directly, Atome takes merchant enquiries through its merchant form or [email protected].

Is Atome available on Shopify in Malaysia?

Yes, Atome works with Shopify and other e-commerce platforms via HitPay.

How much does Atome cost merchants on HitPay in Malaysia?
