POS Order Form and Invoice Late Fee

Payments

This release introduces a customizable order form for the POS app, the ability to create and set orders for shipping and pickup, a consolidated order view, and barcode scanning for the Web POS. This release also includes a new embed code section for the online store, an invoice late fee feature, and a new Cal.com integration.

POS App

  • Customizable Order Form in POS App (Docs): You can now display a customizable order form during checkout to collect additional order or customer details.

  • Create Orders with Shipping & Pickup Options on POS App (Docs) : The POS app now allows you to create orders and set them for shipping or pickup. This is ideal for businesses that accept in-person orders for later delivery.

  • View Orders on POS App (Docs) : Access your orders through Tools > Orders for a consolidated view of both Online Store and POS orders. Orders awaiting shipping or pickup can be marked as completed directly in the HitPay app.

  • SMS Receipts for PH & ID with Sender ID
    SMS receipts will now display HitPay as the sender and include a unique receipt link.

Invoice

  • Late Fee (Docs): You can now automate late fees on unpaid invoices by setting a fixed amount or percentage of the total, applied after a custom grace period. Once an invoice is overdue, the fee is automatically added as a line item, saving you time and eliminating the need to manually track and add late fees. With clear payment terms and enforced deadlines, you’ll minimise missed payments and stay focused on growing your business.



Online Store

  • Storefront new Section (Docs):

    • Embed Code: Easily integrate custom content into your online store with the new Embed Code section. Whether it’s a newsletter sign-up, map, social media feed, or interactive survey, you can now effortlessly add external content to enhance your store’s functionality and customer engagement. With full control over alignment, placement, and colors, it’s never been easier to embed dynamic elements directly onto your storefront.

Cal.com

  • Cal.com Integration(Docs): Easily manage and accept bookings for services like workshops, consultations, fitness classes, and therapy with our new integration with Cal.com. The platform supports both in-person and virtual appointments, syncs with Google Calendar, and offers a dedicated booking page for customers to schedule directly. Payments are processed through HitPay, creating a smooth booking and payment experience. Plus, you can embed the booking page directly into your HitPay online shop. Currently, the HitPay app is only available on cal.hitpayapp.com.

Web POS

  • Barcode Scanning in Web POS (Docs) : You can now toggle the search field between Name and Barcode. Connect a barcode scanner to your computer to scan items seamlessly on the Web POS.

  • Quick Sale Currency Toggle on Web POS
    Easily switch between currencies during Quick Sale transactions on the Web POS.

  • Discount Reports on Web : Review comprehensive discount and voucher reports, showing the total amount and quantity applied to both POS and Online Store transactions

Other Improvements

  • Recurring Billing - Customise Payment methods [SG Only]: You can now customise the payment methods displayed on your recurring billing checkout page. You can choose whether to offer GIRO, Card, or both, giving customers the flexibility to pay the way they prefer.
