How do payment links work?
Payment links provide an easy way to accept payments across various sales channels. You can generate and share payment links with customers, allowing them to complete transactions using multiple payment methods, including credit cards, e-wallets, and more—all from your HitPay dashboard.
What types of businesses can use payment links?
HitPays' payment links are designed for any business that needs a quick and effective way to collect payments. From freelancers and small businesses to larger enterprises, payment links make accepting payments easy and hassle-free.
Are HitPay's payment links secure?
Yes, security is our top priority. Our payment links are PCI DSS compliant and adhere to strict security standards, ensuring the safety of your data and customer transactions.
Can I customize payment links for my customers?
Absolutely. You can customize payment links to reflect your brand, including adding your business logo, colors, and payment preferences. This ensures a seamless and branded experience for your customers.
What payment methods can I use with payment links?
Payment links created with HitPay can accept payments through a variety of options, including credit cards, debit cards, digital wallets (like Apple Pay and Google Pay), as well as regional payment methods in your market.
Can I set up partial payments or recurring payments through invoices?
Yes, our invoicing software allows you to set up partial payments, which is ideal for services delivered over time. Additionally, you can set up recurring invoices to automate repeated billing for ongoing services.
Are there any fees associated with using HitPay's payment links?
Yes, pay-per-transaction fees apply. You can visit our pricing page or contact our sales team for more details.
How do I get started with HitPay's payment links?
Getting started is simple—just sign up for a free HitPay account, and start generating payment links right away. For more assistance or information, feel free to contact our team.
How much does a payment link cost on HitPay Singapore?
You pay the method fee for how the customer pays, plus 0.2% for the Payment Links product. Online PayNow is 0.65% + S$0.30 from S$100, or 0.9% (minimum S$0.20) below. No setup or monthly fee. See the Singapore pricing page.
Can I accept PayNow on a payment link?
Yes. Enable PayNow on the link after Singapore business verification, and share the checkout URL or QR on WhatsApp, Instagram, email or SMS.
Do I need a website to use payment links?
No. The basic payment-link flow needs no website — you share a HitPay-hosted checkout page. Plugins are only needed if you also sell through a store platform.
How long do payouts take on payment links?
In Singapore, non-card HitPay Balance payouts are T+1 calendar day. In Malaysia they are T+2 business days. Payment confirmation is real time; bank settlement is separate.
Is HitPay licensed in Singapore?
Yes — MAS Major Payment Institution PS20200643. Details on the licence and registrations page.
HitPay vs Stripe or Airwallex for payment links?
Compare their Singapore payment-link and PayNow coverage on their own sites if you already use those stacks. HitPay is PayNow-first for SGD chat commerce, with published fees and no monthly subscription.
Is there a Malaysia payment links page?
Yes — the Malaysia payment links page. On HitPay Malaysia, DuitNow is 1.2% and FPX is 1.8% + RM 0.40, plus the same 0.2% Payment Links fee. Rates on the Malaysia pricing page.
What are the best payment links for Instagram and WhatsApp sellers in Singapore?
For Singapore sellers who close on WhatsApp or Instagram without a website, HitPay payment links are the PayNow-first default: create a link, share the checkout URL in chat, and accept PayNow, GrabPay, and cards on one hosted page — no monthly fee and no site required. Confirm fees on hitpayapp.com/sg/pricing.
What is the difference between a payment link and a Collection Account?
Payment links are for customers — send a PayNow or card link over WhatsApp, Instagram or email and get paid. A Collection Account is for receivables: clients and partners pay invoices and B2B transfers to bank details in your own business name, and the money lands in the same HitPay Wallet as your links. In Singapore, SGD arrives in real time via FAST/PayNow with no setup or monthly fee and S$0.50 per collection — see the Singapore Collection Account. Collection Accounts are available in Singapore and the Philippines only.
